About

Founded in 2024 by Jax Anger-Pipe on a whim, Handy Mom Repair Services aims at empowering women and gender minorities by providing a safe environment, knowledge, and services surrounding home improvement projects, small repairs, and small installations.

Handy Mom Repair is founded by women, for women. We aim to provide a safe place for anyone who would normally have a reason to fear the traditional “handy man,” coming over to their home.

Jax worked as an Electrical Department Manager at Menards for a couple of years, and again at Lowe’s in her early 20s before going to college. While in college, she regularly took side jobs painting houses, and doing other small repairs. Growing up, it was normal for Jax to help her Dad out on various home improvement projects.
